**About the role**:
Merri-bek City Council is looking for a experienced Gardener as part of Merri-bek City Council’s in-house Area Maintenance team. You will play a vital role in helping to maintain our Parks and Open Space for all Merri-bek citizens to enjoy. You will enjoy contact with the community and working with a dynamic team to look after Council's Parks and Reserves and maintenance of landscapes throughout Merri-bek, including our many made and unmade Right of ways (laneways)

We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, driven, and passionate about the community and delivering a positive customer experience both internally and externally.

**Skills and experience require to perform the role**:

- Certificate III in Horticulture (Desirable but not mandatory)
- Extensive experience in landscaping or park maintenance.
- The ability to use horticultural machinery.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- A current Victorian Driver's Licence and Medium Rigid Level or equivalent would be highly regarded.
