**The Role**

Reporting into the Support Services Operations Manager, our hospital is looking to recruit a full-time wards person to work on our a flexible shift roster. The wards person will play a pivotal role in providing a high level of care to our patients while supporting the clinical functions of the hospital. You would have previously worked in a hospital environment, be motivated and able to demonstrate a high level of initiative. These positions will be rostered Monday to Sunday and requires an amount of physical activity and walking throughout the facility.

**What you'll need to succeed**

The successful applicants will hold the following attributes:

- Previous experience as an Orderly/Porter is **_essential_**:

- Cultivating a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients and staff
- Work autonomously with a strong decision making
- Excellent attention to detail displaying strong aspects of organisational skills
- Commitment to the high service delivery with a strong emphasis on WHS compliance
- Understanding of manual handling procedures
- Flexibility and adaptability
