**The role**:
As a Warehouse Storeperson, you will be the key representative responsible for the coordination of all incoming and outgoing goods via the warehouse to our project locations.
- The role involves picking, packing, receiving, dispatch, side loader forklift operation, stock control and logistics coordination.
- You will also be involved in production/assembly/fabrication works and QA required for APS projects.
- You may need to deliver goods to site for Sydney projects.
- You will be liaising with the logistics coordinator and other operations personnel.
- Your input will be a key part in ensuring project deliverables are achieved, contributing to effective company performance.

**Your responsibilities will include the following**:

- Completing daily warehousing activities including receiving goods from suppliers, ensuring they are undamaged and match the orders placed.
- Identifying potential warehouse/stock improvements.
- Stock administration, including entering new stock on the computer register and coding goods.
- Stocking shelves, ensuring the safe storage of goods.
Picking orders that are due to be dispatched to customers.
- Ensuring goods are delivered to customers on time, undamaged, and obtaining signatures as proof of delivery.
- Ensuring that all areas of the warehouse are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- A strong commitment to WH&S policies and procedures.
- Supporting Projects Team to continually reduce costs (where possible exceed Project GP Targets)

**About You**:

- Have unrestricted Australian working rights as sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately).
- Hold an Australian class c driver's licence.
- Hold a Forklift license and use of Side Loader Forklift.
- Have the ability to confidently manage and optimize warehousing and logistics activities and processes.
- Experience working in a plumbing store, or for a plumbing company / contractor is preferred, but not essential.
- Be comfortable with being on the go throughout the day and physically capable of picking and packing up to 25kgs as and when.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and contemporary freight/accounting software
- Practical, self-motivated and approachable, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding relationship building, networking and negotiation skills with a passion for influencing business improvement and best practice initiatives.
- Can think ‘outside of the box’ to improve deliverables, margin and quality
- Highly capable in preparing, assessing and managing an array of documentation.
- Efficient handling and storage of stock within a warehouse.
- Able to keep warehouse environment clean, tidy and organised.
