**About the Role**:
This position demands someone self motivated, reliable and committed, to assist with the team in the overall running of Minetek's warehouse facility in Prestons.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinating warehouse personnel in the completion of warehousing duties
- Helping Load and unload the trucks
- Receiving, picking and packing of customer orders with attention to detail
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within defined work area
- Active participation in the setup and maintenance of warehouse and associated areas
- Operating machinery to assist with all daily warehousing requirements
- Provide outstanding Customer Service for both internal and external customers
- Contributing to a strong safety culture in support of company policies and procedures
- Maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse
- Supporting less experienced personnel on essential warehousing matters and productivity
- Other warehousing duties as required or requested

**About You**:

- Previous experience in a similar warehousing role, coupled with relevant certification and training (desirable)
- A forklift license & white card
- Comfortable working at heights and with high levels of manual handling
- Friendly, collaborative and approachable
- An inherent safety and risk awareness essential to operating in a medium risk environment
