Based in Prestons, our company delivers to restaurants and butchers throughout Sydney. We are a growing business, well known in the Asian community for our fresh poultry products. We are currently searching for a new driver with great work ethic and a can-do attitude to join our team.

The Role:
In this position, you will be required to work 5 days 6am-2pm including Saturdays. Some earlier starts and late finishes will be required on our busier days. The successful applicant will be self-motivated, organised and customer service driven. As part of this role, you will also assist the warehouse supervisor with all warehouse requirements. This dual role requires a unique blend of organisational leadership and a practical on-the-floor approach to ensure a smooth operation of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for heading out on the road in our trucks to distribute our products promptly to designated areas
- Obtain and be responsible for payment from customers
- Loading, unloading items when delivering to our customers and ensuring you are delivering with pride, and exceptional customer experience during your interactions
- Keep delivery vehicles clean and presentable to customers
- Receiving, handling and packing inventory
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring accuracy and readiness to dispatch
- Coordinate any warehouse maintenance projects
- Enforce and develop safety and hygiene protocols according to the standard operating procedures within the warehouse
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance warehouse and delivering efficiency

Essential Requirements:

- Full Drivers Licence - Auto/Manual
- Applicant needs to be physically fit to lift 20-25Kg cartons, there is repeated lifting involved in this position
- Punctuality
- Forklift licence (essential)
- Delivery driver experience - multi drop experience preferred
- Experience driving a 3 tonne truck
- Confident verbal and written communication skills
- Drivers Licence Check and a National Police check will be mandatory

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
