**About Us**:
Aspley High School is a growing co-educational Independent Public School offering a comprehensive High School education for years 7 through to 12. The school is located on the north side of Brisbane, and was established in 1963. Students come from a range of suburbs including Bridgeman Downs, Aspley, Zillmere, Geebung, Carseldine and Bald Hills. Approximately 1100 students attend our school.We are a diverse learning community. We have students from many different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. **About the Role**:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Lead curriculum focus in line with school and departmental initiatives.
- Participate in delivering the vision of State Schools Division.
- Develop the quality of teaching and learning.
- Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.

The Head of Department is accountable to and under the direction of the Principal or delegate.
