This 30-day paid internship is designed for students new to the workforce, offering flexible work experience relevant to your studies and the chance to develop key skills for your future career.

At King & Wood Mallesons we’ve got talented people working together to help achieve our business goals. They work in a range of roles, including in marketing and communications, human resources, legal and business research, technology, finance, hospitality and operations.

Some highlights of the program include:

- 30 days of paid work placement from May 2025 to October 2025
- Placement with a business support team relevant to your studies and interests
- Continued support and on the job learning
- Networking with a wide variety of professionals from KWM and our clients
- Industry specific skills-based workshops
- Mentoring
- Career support and guidance

Throughout your internship, we'll work closely with you to ensure you're learning, supported, and growing with the support of a KWM supervisor (to help with work tasks), a mentor (to help you grow as a professional) and a buddy (to make sure you are well supported).

Who We’re Looking For

To participate in KWM Explore, you need to be:

- Part of The Smith Family’s _Learning for Life _Tertiary Scholarship program during your internship period;
- Undertaking tertiary study aligned to one of our business support teams - You can find more information on these teams
- here

- Able to travel into our offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, or Perth for your internship; and
- Enthusiastic and have a strong desire to learn and grow.

Applied? What happens next?
- Applications open 1 November 2024 and close 11.59pm on 30 November 2024.
- Applications will be reviewed by King & Wood Mallesons and an update will be provided by 16 December 2024.
- Interviews will be conducted in February 2025 at a King & Wood Mallesons’ office.
- The program will commence the week commencing 12 May 2025, with national induction held on 13 May 2025 (must be available)
