- Who has experience dealing with challenging behaviours
- With a sense of humor
- That knows what they are doing - they want to have confidence in you
- That can problem solve, when a situation occurs (as they do from time to time they may need assistance to solve their problems.
- That can “Assist me”, is capable of rationalizing situations, but not overstepping the boundaries.
- Who knows how to listen
- Who treats a person with a disability as a “person”, not as a participant.

Personal Skills:

- Clear communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills

It is preferable if you have..
- Experience within the industry (mental health, disability, youth work, individual care) or
- Certificate III in Disability Support or other relevant qualifications and/or experience
- Promote and develop independent living skills and community access for adults and teens
- Experience dealing with challenging behaviours
- First Aid Certificate and CPR (current)
- Current Open Driver’s license
- Own car and fully comprehensive insurance

The successful applicants will be required to hold or be willing to obtain NDIS worker screening clearance (Yellow Card), Working with Children Check (Blue Card) current a National Criminal History Check, First Aid & CPR.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 40 per week

**Benefits**:
