**About your new role**
Are you a resilient and patient individual who thrives on making the biggest impacts and helping where it counts? We are currently seeking casual Disability Support Workers to provide Before and After School supports to our young customers within our Redlands Region. You will be assisting customers aid in daily tasks and providing support through challenging behaviours. Our Disability Support Workers assist our valued customers as they shape and improve their lives.

**About our Redlands Team**

Our Before and After School Care Supports are operated by our amazing Redlands Region team that provide consistent assistance for our customers while promoting independence. Our team provide several activities in our young customers to promote an exciting environment for motivation, mentoring and creativity.

**About you**
- Demonstrate expertise in complex support environments and previous experience in complex and challenging behaviours
- Provide effective communication and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders
- Experience with PEG feeding, medication assistance, slide sheets and hoist use.
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritise workload and respond to emergent situations
- Experience working with children
- You have flexibility to work across a variety of morning and afternoon shifts

**You will have the following to qualify for this role**
- Hold a current Blue Card (working with children)
- A NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities)
- Full COVID-19 vaccinations (proof from MyGov)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate.
- NDIS Worker Modules certificate
- Driver’s Licence
- Working Vehicle and Comprehensive Insurance
