**Your new role**:
This position is responsible for effectively working as part of the Horticulture Team to deliver a high level of presentation for the City’s Gardens including the Botanic Gardens precinct. Reporting to the Team Leader Parks Operations (Botanic Gardens) you will be responsible for the:

- Establishment and maintenance of garden and landscape areas including tree maintenance and pest and disease management;
- Establishment and maintenance of gardens and lawns including planting, pruning, mowing weeding, irrigation and soil and sediment control; and
- Utilisation and maintenance of small plant and equipment.

**What you will need to succeed**:
The successful applicant will have:

- Qualifications relevant to the role e.g. Certificate III Horticulture Landscape Construction or Certificate III Horticulture
- Class C Driver’s Licence (MR Licence Desirable);
- Current AQF III Chemical Application Certificate; and
- Current Construction Induction Training Card (White Card).
