Role: Gardener & Landscaper (Part-Time / Casual)

About the Role

As a Gardener & Landscaper at Greenwise Landscapes, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving residential and commercial outdoor spaces. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical outdoor work, takes pride in high-quality workmanship, and is looking for a flexible position with a growing business.

This role involves a mix of general garden maintenance and small landscaping projects, including tasks such as lawn care, hedge trimming, planting, turf laying, and minor hardscaping.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mowing lawns, edging, and whipper snipping
  • Trimming hedges, pruning, and shaping plants
  • Removing weeds and maintaining garden beds
  • Leaf blowing, debris removal, and general garden clean-ups
  • Applying mulch, topsoil, and fertilisers as needed
  • Gutter cleaning and pressure cleaning
  • Assisting with soft landscaping (planting, laying turf, garden bed installation)
  • Assisting with hard landscaping (paving, edging, retaining walls, etc)
  • Loading/unloading tools and materials
  • Maintaining and cleaning tools and equipment
  • Following safety guidelines and maintaining a clean work environment

Working Hours & Conditions

  • Flexible part-time/casual hours (perfect for students, those seeking extra income, or those wanting work-life balance)
  • Work is weather-dependent, so some flexibility is required
  • Jobs will be scheduled across weekdays and occasional Saturdays
  • Locations vary across Hawkesbury, Nepean & Hills District – transport to job sites may be required
  • Work is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift, bend, and be on your feet for extended periods

What We're Looking For

Someone who enjoys working outdoors and has an interest in gardening & landscaping

Hardworking and reliable with strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently and follow instructions

Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor

A positive attitude and good customer service skills

Experience in gardening, landscaping, or similar outdoor work (preferred but not essential)

Driver's license Essential
