**About the role**
Based in the Adelaide Office and reporting to the Senior Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for leading the Midstream Maintenance (Cooper) team of planners, schedulers and specialist staff ensuring effective and efficient implementation of maintenance programs.
Accountabilities are delivered in line with the Santos Management System (SMS), Santos Delegation of Authority (DOA) and Corporate Governance and Safety requirements. Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Mitigating or minimizing risk to the business through proactive team management and processes
- Preparing and overseeing budgets in line with company requirements, identifying and delivering opportunities to reduce costs or improve profitability of own area.
- Analyzing maintenance data to ensure a Continuous Improvement cycle is active
- Ensuring availability and accuracy of Long Range (3yr) > Execution (6 week) maintenance programs
- Supporting the pre-planning phase of campaigns to achieve cost effective, on time completion of campaign events
- Influencing reliability and integrity maintenance programs to meet the objectives of campaign-based delivery (alignment by area, resource, or service provision on the premise of maximizing efficiency and minimising downtime)
- Utilizing core KPIs to analyze maintenance performance and identify areas of process weakness and delivery improvement opportunity.
- Managing Return to Plan (RTP) events utilizing specialist technical support within team and engaging external teams and contractors where necessary
- Engaging and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders - production planning, production engineering, reliability and integrity engineering personnel to achieve production and maintenance goals
- Setting goals through performance and development discussions ensuring team purpose and role accountabilities are clearly communicated and understood.
- Championing change and foster a performance culture to achieve desired culture outcomes and engaged team members.
- Providing performance feedback, coaching & mentoring of team members.
- Driving process improvements in maintenance planning, scheduling and execution.
- Ensuring compliance with and adherence to standards for EHS performance and behavior consistent with Company’s environmental, and health & safety vision and policies and standards
**About you**
You will demonstrate strong leadership in maintenance and safety management with a deep understanding of maintenance, production operations and reliability processes as they relate to asset management practices. Critical to this role is the ability to manage and lead a team of professionals and/or individual contributors with the ability to influence various stakeholders.
