**Salary**:$60,416 - $65,237 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super (dependant on qualifications and experience).
**Time Fraction**:Part Time, 0.6 EFT.
**Location**:Drummond Street campus.
**WWCC**: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
**Position Status**:Ongoing contract of employment, with a 6-month qualifying period.

The Electrical Supply Industry department is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Officer to be a part of a team providing essential administrative, reception, and advisory services to support the department's operations. Responsibilities include managing various administrative tasks using our student and information management systems, handling enrolments, and performing data entry. Additionally, you will support the Head of Department with report and documentation preparation, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory standards, as well as creating purchase orders and managing invoices.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Experience in managing office operations and administrative tasks in multi-disciplinary environments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Skilled in delivering professional customer service within educational administration, managing priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated excellent organisational skills and the ability to work cooperatively within a team environment or work without supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to engage with diverse clients and stakeholders across various platforms.
- Capable of working independently or within a team, coordinating effectively in a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Proficient in MS Office, internet-based software, and database management, with knowledge of student administration.
- Diploma of Business Administration or similar qualification, with relevant experience, ideally in education.

The ESI department provides training for line workers in the Electricity Supply Industry, covering both overhead and underground distribution along with traction control apprenticeship training for light and heavy rail operations.
