As a Presales Professional you will be a trusted advisor to customers, driving long-term strategic direction and growing engagement at the CXO level.

- Use your storytelling skills to explain how our solutions will solve our customer's problems and the value our solutions provide in a way that our customers can relate to.
- Work with our customers to understand their challenges and needs and the value in solving them

- Collaborate with teams across Microsoft bringing the full potential of Microsoft to deliver an amazing solution to our customers
In this role, you’ll also have the opportunity to participate in the pre-sales community; share best practices, support peers and leverage the efforts of others to broaden your impact and empower others.
**Qualifications**:
**The purpose of this role**
As a key member of the Business Applications sales pursuit team you will be a strategic thinker, proactive problem solver, sales & technical roadblock resolver displaying a growth mindset with deep functional and technical knowledge in Enterprise Applications. The skills and experience required include:
**Deep understanding of**:
- Business value selling methodologies and practices that successfully convey the value and outcomes the proposed solution will deliver.
- How to uncover customer’s stated and unstated needs and how technology can be leveraged to solve business problems.
**Desired skills:
- Customer-centric mindset with demonstrated passion for delivering customer value.
- Experienced problem solver and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excel at owning and coordinating team resources to successfully build and deliver a compelling and differentiated solution demonstration.
- Design a Customer-centric Solution aligned with Business Value
- Excellent presentation and communications skills across various customer stakeholders; experienced storyteller.
- Embracing of a growth mindset, insatiably curious, always learning and welcoming of challenges for the opportunity to grow.
**What skills do you need to have?**
There will be many opportunities for you to learn and grow into this role and Microsoft.
However, to be able to best deliver on the purpose of this role, these are the core skills and experiences that we require for the role:
- Business solutions (ERP) workload expertise in one or more of the following: Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Retail/Commerce and/or Finance
- 6+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
