Currently expanding their team and in need experienced warehouse supervisor who can look after the team but also drive forklift at times.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing team to ensure the smooth and safe operation of our fast-paced distribution centre in Braeside. A rare opportunity to join a global leader in the Sintered Stone surfaces market that is embarking on its Australian Expansion.

Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities to increase operational efficiency, company profitability and customer satisfaction.

Accurately and safely receiving and storing materials, as well as picking, packing and scanning orders for pickup and delivery.

Receives shipments, logs into inventory, maintains inventory through audits.

Reviewing warehouse layout to ensure efficiencies in productivity and accuracy are maintained

Liaising with couriers, freight companies

Ensure that the warehouse operations daily activities, facilities & operators follow the companies H&S policy.

Proactively and positively influencing safety programs and standards

Communicates positively with sales staff, fellow workers and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up.

Ensure the customers receive the highest level of customer service

Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification, performs vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor.

**Skills & Experience**
Minimum 3 years experience in similar role
Forklift license essential with minimum 2 years experience
SAP Experience preferred
Familiarity with overhead crane operations
High level of safety awareness
Customer Focused

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:

- Warehouse supervisor: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
