**About the Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Casual Ward Clerk. The role provides a comprehensive confidential administrative service to the Surgical Wards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinating and assisting hospital transfers, both intra and interstate, booking transport as directed
- Preparing Medical and Private Health Assignment forms for the Public/Private patients to sign
- Screening, directing, answering telephone enquiries and taking accurate messages
- Establishing and maintaining Departmental filing systems
