**About the role**

This role is a great opportunity to contribute to NESA’s program of curriculum reform and syllabus development. The Digital Learning Designer works as part of the Online Learning team to facilitate the rollout of online learning courses for NSW teachers. They create engaging learning activities and compelling course content to help NSW teachers familiarise themselves with the newly reformed curriculum. The role also ensures the practice is documented and there is a consistent approach to the documentation of business processes and requirements. The role actively participates in planning and running testing activities for each project to meet the business’ needs and deliver value.

**Key responsibilities**
- Work with internal and external teams in the ongoing creation of professional development courses to support program delivery.
- Build strategic relationships and work with stakeholders to storyboard courses, define business needs, and prioritise your work.
- Perform a comprehensive analysis of alternate solutions using best practice methodologies to deliver products and services with the maximum benefit and to the required standards. This includes facilitating collaboration and leading effective communication with all stakeholders to support design, build and delivery to meet users' needs.
- Create supporting material/media for professional learning courses.
- Participate in system test activities, including executing test cases, logging defects, and clarifying any queries that may arise during testing activities.
- Ensure practice is documented, stored, and maintained for all to access to enable effective delivery and enhanced ways of working.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience in working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and authoring tools
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to deliver quality outcomes, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience working in education is preferable.
