Life’s too short for mediocre cups of coffee. We appreciate just how important it is to our guests that we get their favourite drink order just right. Every single time. So, we’re searching for a **barista** with exceptional skills, experience, and a double shot of enthusiasm to do just that.

Internally, this role is titled Hotel Services Team Member. We're a tight knit team, so whilst you'll be based in our restaurant delivering the ultimate cup of coffee, you'll be confident supporting the team across the food & beverage operation and your vibrant and accommodating personality will engage guests, ensuring they enjoy a memorable experience when dining with us.

**A little taste of your day-to-day**

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

- A helpful host, local expert, and a proud brand ambassador
- Taking guest orders and making menu recommendations as our go-to coffee expert
- Preparing and serving a wide variety of hot, cold, artisan and specialty beverages
- Effectively preparing a serving a high volume of beverages during service
- Receiving and processing guest payments
- Keeping us well-supplied by ordering, receiving, and distributing essential stock
- Helping set exceptional cleanliness standards across all work areas and equipment
- Minimising waste and keeping your supervisor informed of any unsafe equipment, low supplies, or safety incidents
- Taking on ad-hoc duties to keep the service running smoothly

**What we need from you**

We are looking for energetic and approachable people, with excellent communication skills, and a can-do attitude Our Neighbourhood hosts will ideally bring a passion for the Adelaide region; always curious to discover more and share thoughtful suggestions with our guests.

You'll also have:

- Experience - strong barista skills and previous experience working in a similar position, restaurant or bar is essential.
- Passion for coffee and coffee artistry
- Knowledge of various hot and cold beverage recipes and espresso production and Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
- Articulate
- a great communicator, you'll be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to
- The ability to work under pressure, remaining motivated
- Your strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories
- The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 23 kg, which can also involve bending and kneeling
- The flexibility to work across a rotating roster including mornings, nights, weekends and public holidays
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification (Nationally Accredited) & Food Safety Certificate Must meet the legal requirement to work in Australia without limitations or restrictions
