**About you**:
- Highly motivated individual with experience in a data administrator or project administrator role
- Interest in data and reporting, with great attention to detail and passion for a job well done
- Enjoys and has a great ability to learn new systems, in particular database and reporting, and provide suggestions to streamline existing processes
- Ability to provide key insights tailored for senior stakeholders across the NSW Government
- Enjoy and excel in achieving deadlines as part of a team
- Able to maintain a positive can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment and keen to contribute to the overall success of the team
- Intermediate to advanced level MS Excel
- High attention to detail and an analytical mindset
- Good written and verbal communication skills
**About the role**:
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Supporting the development of the annual Portfolio definition cycle and annual delivery plan, including managing stakeholder and customer inputs and communicating results to stakeholders and customers, to facilitate effective stakeholder participation and engagement and meet portfolio priorities and business objectives
- Providing expert advice and recommendations to customers and stakeholders on a range of portfolio issues and priorities to inform evidence-based decision making and support the achievement of sustainable portfolio outcome, with a variety of ad-hock analysis charts and reporting using PowerPoint, excel and power BI
- Developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to facilitate and promote innovative portfolio growth and development
- Maintaining a strong understanding of the portfolio health, including trends, risks, and constraints, and contribute to the development and review of business processes and practices, to identify opportunities for improved performance and customer service outcomes
- Other administrative duties including managing users of our tools and systems, perform monthly dashboard refreshes, producing and maintaining help documentation in support of the team’s stakeholders
**About the team**:
The Digital Strategy, Investment and Assurance Team (DSIA) works across whole of NSW Government to drive digital and ICT strategy, alignment, planning, prioritisation and investment.
The team:
- Plays a pivotal role in driving digital strategy and alignment to improve customer outcomes, reduce legacy systems and drive adoption of common assets.
- Administers the $2.2 billion Digital Restart Fund transforming the way government invests in Digital and ICT and driving digital change in NSW.
- Delivers independent oversight of NSW Government ICT and digital projects, including Gateway reviews and periodic health checks at key points in a projects lifecycle to support identifying the right projects, delivering them on-time, on-budget and eliminating risks.
Transforms the way government works to solve problems through the Digital Design Toolkit, Design Standards and Design System, making it easier for teams to build and deliver great digital service.
Salary Grade 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at $101,947 base plus superannuation
