The Biodiversity, Conservation and Science Group is a part of the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water. We are seeking to appoint a **Manager Policy and Briefings**.

The Manager, Policy and Briefings is responsible for providing high-level executive support to the Deputy Secretary, ensuring that all policy and briefing material is delivered on time and to a high standard. The role provides a key point of coordination across the Biodiversity, Conservation and Science Group to support the Deputy Secretary’s approvals processes, attendance at meetings, events and briefings, and finalisation of material for the Secretary and Minister.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you must have:

- Demonstrated experience in providing coordinated and strategic responses to Ministerial and Executive correspondence; preparing briefs, House-folder notes, Cabinet documents, Estimates Committee briefs, parliamentary questions, meeting and event packages.
- Demonstrated experience in providing policy, strategic and operational advice and recommendations at a senior level.
- Extensive knowledge, skills and experience in Government protocols and procedures.
- Tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in relevant field.
