We are seeking an experienced General Handyman/ Maintenance Officer to conduct maintenance activities at our sites in Brisbane and surrounds. You will be required to work 5 days per week, from Monday to Friday. This may include weekend work. **Duties** - Commercial building maintenance - General handywork, including fixing and maintaining furniture and resources - Liaising with contractors - End to end task management - Assessing emergency issues and carrying out emergency repairs or liaising with relevant trades when required **You will need** - Experience in general maintenance - Handyman experience (this includes knowledge of building, plumbing, electrical and general repairs but doesn’t require to be trade qualified) - Essential knowledge and experience in computer operation & MS Office (includes Word, Excel & Outlook) - Facilities management experience - this includes work flow management and communications (desirable) - EWP Licence (desirable) - Drivers licence - Own vehicle (however, company vehicle can be provided for the right applicant) - COVID Vaccination - Great personal presentation - A positive "can do" attitude - Excellent interpersonal skills - The ability to work on a tight schedule - Ability to work alone - Good problem solving skills - Experience in working with Health and Safety Policies & Procedures **Salary**: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour (negotiable) **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent **Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Company car - Travel reimbursement Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift Application Question(s): - Do you have a reliable vehicle?
