**The Role**:
The Global Head of Search Technologies (GHOST) is the thought leader within Locafy with respect to Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) techniques, products, strategies and marketing.

The Global Head of Search Technologies leads product innovation and development on SEO products that are delivered either as a new stand alone solution or incorporated into existing products and services. The GHOST will play a key role in driving business growth through the identification of market opportunities, advising on product mix and pricing and distribution channels for new and existing products and services, to ensure the business maintains a competitive edge in the market.

Working closely with the CEO, the GHOST will identify opportunities, points of improvement and help to bring innovative products to the market that are commercially beneficial. The GHOST may attend relevant SEO events for the purpose of gathering market intelligence and as a keynote speaker, ideally in a “thought leadership” position.

**About the Role**:

- Develop and implement strategic methods on the structuring and deployment of all Locafy digital campaigns to ensure consistent high performance across the product set.
- Collaborate with the CEO to strategise go-to-market offerings, including product mix, advertising, pricing and distribution channels.
- Plan, implement and oversee marketing and advertising campaigns
- Educate internal and external stakeholders on SEO best practices to improve search engine metrics and performance of digital marketing activities.
- Undertake SEO research and analysis, adopting a data driven approach to the creation of new products and the optimisation of existing products and company assets to add value to existing customers and attract new customer segments.
- Build a network of reliable external agencies and marketing professionals
- Design and deliver a paid for “educational academy” subscription service aimed at high level SEO specialists to better utilize Locafy’s range of technologies.
- Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of strategic and operational company objectives.

**About you**:

- You will be regarded as an expert in the Digital Marketing Industry with specific expertise in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) - ideally within a Global context.
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in strategic marketing, including direct, channel and partner marketing leading a team to achieve company objectives
- Previous experience as a Senior Marketing Professional within the Digital Marketing & SaaS industries
- Based in Perth, Western Australia or willing to relocate to Perth to work from the Locafy Head Office
- Exceptional knowledge of contemporary marketing techniques and platforms
- Demonstrated analytical, commercial and leadership skills
- Creative, innovative and entrepreneurial spirit
- Proven experience in creating and delivering organization wide marketing plans that generate leads
