Nursery and Tissue Culture Lab Workers

Chandler Personnel is looking for motivated, hard-working hands far across Melbourne for our fast-paced horticulture team. Our client is Australia’s largest propagation nursery.Young plants are mass-propagated under sterile conditions within our Tissue Culture Laboratory at Skye Vic. The young plants are then either sold to other nurseries throughout Australia, or grown out in our own nursery for later sale to farmers and other nurseries.
We are now seeking Laboratory Assistants to join our busy Plant Tissue Culture Team.
On-going to perm work
Training provided
8am - 4:30pm
Monday - Friday
- Must be able to follow instruction
- Great reliability
- Good hand/eye coordination and dexterity.
- Attention to detail
- Comfortable working indoors in a clinical setting, seated for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in a team
- OH&S awareness
- Experience working in a laboratory setting (e.g. health / microbiology labs, research institutes) an advantage, but not essential
