Due to an internal promotion of the organisation they require a Payroll Specialist to start on a contract of 6+ months with an opportunity to convert to a Permanent role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Payroll Specialist to join this busy, fun and friendly and growing Payroll team. The focus of this role will be managing a division of the full payroll function for the Australian and NZ business.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will take ownership and execution of the payroll function.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a professional disposition are absolutely essential for this varied hands on role. Your effective organisational skills and ability to deal with priorities and deadlines will see you in successfully hitting the ground running in this fast paced fun, friendly and social environment.

**The Role**
- Processing payroll for approx. 150+ employees nationally
- Identify and drive payroll efficiencies and improvements
- Preparation of various payroll reports
- Award interpretation
- Prepare payment summaries
- Co-ordinate all Superannuation activities
- Resolving any payroll queries
- Reconciliations and payments of tax and superannuation
- Adhoc payroll duties

To be successful, we ask that you meet the following criteria:

- Demonstrated experience with end to end Payroll processing and experience working with payroll systems is essential - preceda knowledge is essential.
- Understanding payroll related legislation and legal compliance issues.
- Possess a fun, friendly and social personality.
- A 'Can do' attitude and hands on approach.
