ATCO's Australian operations are headquartered in Perth, Western Australia and specialise in creating innovative, customer focused energy and infrastructure solutions.
ATCO owns and operates Western Australia's largest gas distribution network with more than 14,000km of pipelines. ATCO also operates two progressive power generation stations - in Adelaide and the Pilbara.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Administrator to join our Engineering Projects Team in a 2 year fixed term role based at our Jandakot, Perth office reporting to the Contracts Lead
**What you will do**
We are seeking a Contract Co-ordinator (2 Year fixed term) with 2-3 years’ experience until to support the contract lead and manager to ensure client contractual requirements are met, whilst maintaining a favorable commercial/contractual position for ATCO, and minimising/mitigating contractual/cost risks, through liaison with multiple stakeholders within the client, supplier and internal teams.
**Your contribution and responsibilities**:
- Review and prepare all contractual documentation issued and received including variations, claims, KPI scorecards and communications and advising the contracts lead where such documentation may result in a contractual impact.
- Assist with tender evaluation.
- Assist with Contract set-up and post award contract administrative work.
- Assist with preparation and management of contract status reports and associated information.
- Review Contract performance data to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
- Assessment of progress claims and variations.
- Create and maintain an appropriate Risk Register for each project, including mitigating actions and controls whilst, escalating where applicable
- Assists in the resolution of contract disputes.
- Ensures that all commercial requirements of the contracts are satisfied.
- Work with PMO team for budget assignment and provide required inputs for reporting. Also, manage interfaces with other functional teams.
- Assist with facilitation of contract review meetings.
**What you will bring**
- 3+ years’ of civil contracts administrator within industrial or building construction
- Experience with pre-award and post award contract administration activities.
- Strong knowledge of construction contract law and regulations.
