An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced medical receptionist to join our dynamic team at LCFMP.

Lane Cove Family Medical Practice is a well-established practice providing care for families in Lane Cove for over 35 years. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our patients, we'd love to hear from you.

The position on offer is a permanent part time position 3 days per week. We pay above award wages.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a medical general practice
- minimum 1 year.
- Familiarity with medical software, especially Best Practice
- Provide excellent patient care in a welcoming and calm manner in a busy environment.
- Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Highly organised with excellent communication skills.
- Work as a team to ensure smooth patient flow and overall practice efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist patients in a warm, caring, and compassionate manner.
- Smooth and efficient daily front desk operations, with strong proficiency in handling phone calls, addressing patient needs, managing triage, and coordinating the appointment scheduling system.
- General practice billing procedures.

**Essential Skills & Experience**:

- Strong customer service skills with a dynamic and positive attitude
- Excellent IT and time management skills
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to work with precision, honesty, and integrity
- Work rights in Australia

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $36.00 per hour
