**Liability Claims Consultant**

We are seeking for a **Liability Claims Consultant** to manage our public liability/professional indemnity claim files including claims falling with the Personal Injuries Proceedings Act from initial contact to assessment, investigation, and resolution.

- Liaising with clients, claimants, and service providers
- Providing analysis of claims as required
- Preparing necessary correspondence to advance/resolve claims
- Regularly reviewing and updating claims information as required

**We would like you to have**:

- Excellent customer or client service skills, with proven experience
- Ability to enter information accurately and swiftly into databases
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels with consideration and respect for ethnicity and cultural diversity
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office products to support administration requirements of the role
- Able to manage changing priorities and accept and adapt to changes within those priorities
- Ability to complete administrative tasks quickly and accurately
- Motivated to succeed through being results oriented while maintaining client focus and a professional attitude
- Willing to accept responsibility and accountability for own decisions and work
- Ability to navigate multiple internal systems whilst adhering to the Privacy Act 2000
- Clean and tidy presentation
- Ability to be a self-starter and be self-motivated.
- ** A Degree in Law** (practicing certificate not required);
- Knowledge of Personal Injuries Proceedings Act and Civil Liability Act will be viewed favourably.
- Advanced Excel and Word skills.
- Excellent communication skills, including oral and written.
