**The Role**
JSA is seeking a suitably qualified and highly experienced EL1 Executive Officer (EO) to support two Deputy Commissioners, in the Office of the JSA Commissioners.
The Office of the JSA Commissioners supports JSA’s strategic advice, the Commissioner, Deputy Commissioners, and JSA Executive.
The Office is a hub of exciting work and critical priorities and has both an operational and strategic focus that include activities such as:
- Coordinating high-level input to government activities such as cabinet submissions.
- Collaborating and working across JSA teams and stakeholders to shape strategic priorities.
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Developing the Annual JSA Work Plan and the Annual Jobs and Skills Report.
The successful applicant will require strong knowledge of JSA’s work program and governance or the ability to quickly build these skills. The EO will work directly with the Deputy Commissioners on planning and preparing briefings for their extensive external stakeholder engagements, including the development of meeting briefs, presentations, talking points, stakeholder analysis and speeches.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
Responsibilities may include:
- Proactive and effective collaboration with JSA’s senior executive and to support the Deputy Commissioner’s in their work with internal and external stakeholders.
- Effectively liaising and developing good relationships with stakeholders while representing the Deputy Commissioner’s office, this includes communicating their priorities and interests, following up on meeting actions and keeping the Deputy Commissioners and their stakeholders updated on relevant matters.
- Working closely with the Deputy Commissioners’ Executive Assistant (EA) to manage the business of the Deputy Commissioners, including triaging and prioritising requests, tasks and engagements and working collaboratively with the other Executive Officers.
