**About the Role**
Join the General Medicine team at Grampians Health - Ballarat, contributing to the Medical Assessment and Planning (MAP) service in a large regional tertiary referral hospital. Work in a dynamic environment with opportunities for teaching, supervising trainees, and building relationships with specialty teams. Located in Ballarat, a vibrant regional city, this role offers both professional and lifestyle benefits.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct daily MAP ward rounds and oversee patient admissions.
- Supervise and mentor advanced trainees, registrars, HMOs, and interns.
- Collaborate with specialty teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in the General Medicine on-call roster.
- Ensure practice aligns with Grampians Health’s credentialing and scope of practice standards.

**Skills & Experience**
- AHPRA registration as a physician and specialist (or eligibility).
- Expertise in General Medicine with a commitment to high-quality care.
- Strong teaching and mentoring skills for trainees and junior staff.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties and professional development.
