**Position Overview**: We are seeking a capable and motivated Fire Technician to join our team. As a **Fire Technician**, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing **and installing** fire safety equipment, with a strong focus on **fire door replacements and installs**. This is an **immediate start** opportunity with a leader in the Trades & Services industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspect, test, and maintain fire doors to ensure compliance with relevant safety standards
- Install and replace fire doors and frames (including hardware fit-off and final commissioning)
- Perform repairs and adjustments on fire doors (gaps, seals, closers, hinges, latching)
- Conduct preventative maintenance on fire safety equipment
- Respond to callouts for emergency fire safety issues
- Maintain detailed records and photo documentation of all work performed
- Collaborate with clients to address their fire safety needs on site

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Relevant trade qualifications in fire safety or a related field (carpentry highly regarded)
- **Minimum 2 years’ experience** as a Fire Technician or similar role
- Practical experience with **fire door installs/replacements** and repairs
- Detailed knowledge of fire safety standards and regulations
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
