Our team is small but we are gearing for growth** **to double our team size so we can scale across mining here, in Australia, and internationally.

**What your role is**:
You will be part of the product development process from the get-go. You will lead the product discovery and design process for our mobile app and web platform, translating user workflow pain points into product design solutions.

You will join a tight-knit product team that values good design and prides themselves in shipping the modern, intuitive software that our users know and love.

**What you will be doing**:
- Become a
- **product expert**: gain a thorough understanding of the industry we play in, our end users, and why they choose to use (and love) our software-
**User research and discovery**: map out user journeys, workflows and pain-points based on a thoroughly researched understanding of the different job roles of our customers and frame them as design problems to be solved-
**Product design**: design world-class, user-centric solutions all the way from conceptualisation, to user acceptance, to high-fidelity prototypesGuarantee
- **product quality and success**:gather user feedback and iterate on designs through data-driven feedback processes-
- Communicate and collaborate with internal teams for continuous feedback and
- **stakeholder alignment**

**We're looking for each other if you**:
- Are a master at Figma-
- Have demonstrable
- **at least 2 years **end-to-end experience in the delivery of design projects, from conceptualisation to production-
- Have a deep understanding of modern product discovery practices and love conducting them: user interviews, user acceptance testing, etc.-
- Believe in user-centric design and value simplicity in solving design problems-
- Are able to communicate concepts and solutions effectively in a way that clearly articulates the reasoning behind design decisions-
- Recognise the importance of a smooth user experience: you have a passion for streamlining both software and workflow processes-
- Always strive for both professional and personal self-improvement: you’re inherently curious and you’re always learning-
- Have a strong understanding of the software development process: experience of Agile/Scrum is a plus**Why you should care about this role**:
