Support Worker

**Position Overview**:
**Urgently Seeking Casual workers ASAP location is Gold coast.**
- **Casual Support workers/ Mentors**for supporting participants ( young & adults) with Personal Care in their home
- Support with Social & Community access when needed.

We are looking for people that have genuine **passion and experience**in supporting people live life how they want, your role will play a critical role in other people's lives so your commitment to providing a person centred service is essential. Having Prior experience supporting people with complex needs is highly desirable.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assisting with travel to outings, social, appointments and other activities.
- Assistance with self care tasks as required
- Assistance with daily & household tasks for some participants.
- Maintenance of progress notes and good record-keeping
- For our younger NDIS participants you will be providing mentoring & role modelling as they work towards their goals of developing life skills
- Sound computer, written and verbal communication skills

**Qualifications and Requirements**:
As a key member of the team, we consider it essential you have:

- Relevant qualifications ( Certificate III In individual support) and experience in supporting people with disabilities
- Exceptional people skills (communication skills, written, verbal and listening)
- Blue Card, Yellow ( screening) card, NDIS modules, Open “C” class driver’s license, Australian citizen or permanent resident
