In Home Service Assistant

- We're looking for Permanent Part Time / Casual Care Workers in Traralgon, Churchill, Moe, Morwell, Trafalgar, Warragul, Drouin. At this point, we are looking those who have a Certificate III in Individul Support/Aged Care or Certificate IV in Disability or unqualifed.
- Supporting our elders in their homes means you are one-on-one with clients working individually. You could drop in to help with personal care or domestic duties in the morning or evening, or keep clients connected to their community through activities they love, like walking, gardening, going out for a coffee or lunch, and transporting them to appointments. Generally you will visit 2-4 client per day, approximately 1-3 hours per visit.

- A mileage allowance of 92 cents per kilometre when you travel between client homes + excess kilometre allowance after 15kms to your first client and from your last client
- Paid training hours to build your skills
- Dedicated senior carers to help induct and mentor you

**What we look for**
- A genuine passion for caring and ability to build rapport with clients
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- A reliable car and valid driver’s license to drive between clients homes and drive clients as required
- Respect for all, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation
- Cert III or higher in Individual Support or related studies (i.e. nursing), studying Individual Support or related
- To work in Home Care, you will need to provide proof of vaccinations (3x COVID and annual flu), evidence of your qualification (if applicable), and supply or obtain a suitable national police check outcome and CPR and First Aid Training Certificates (we'll only ask you for these when we need them).
