**About this Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced **Production Operator** to join our **Blow Mould** team at our South Brisbane Factory.

Reporting to the Production Manager your duties will include:

- The operation, adjustment and cleaning of blow mould and associated production equipment to comply with Lactalis specifications, operational and safety standards.
- Ensure bottle stock is rotated and stock levels are adequate to cover production requirements.
- Minimise wastage including product, packaging, process inputs, time and chemicals and to report excessive wastage to the Coordinator.
- Assist in maintaining regulatory, company and quality systems through the completion of operating logs, downtime recording, Cleaning in Practice (CIP) testing and recording.

We require a team oriented and skilled operator who is self-motivated and able to work varying types of shift work and overtime as required.

**Essential Requirements**
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail
- Experience in a dairy food manufacturing environment will be highly regarded
- High level of attention to detail, good at fault finding/trouble shooting skills
- Strong focus on quality and hygiene
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles - Desirable
- Excellent communication skills including good numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to follow procedures and undertake quality checks
- Strong focus towards health and safety
- Experience performing labour intensive and repetitive tasks
