**Job Description**:

HYG designs, engineers, manufactures and distributes a comprehensive line of lift trucks and aftermarket parts marketed globally under the Hyster and Yale brand names. Hyster-Yale Asia Pacific Pty Ltd is looking for a customer centric & energetic Team Leader, Parts API to join the Team at their brand-new Sydney office in Prospect, NSW. This role will support their small and close Parts Interpretation team that covers the Asia Pacific region. This role supports dealer requirements to assist and drive parts orders. Works closely with HYG Sales & Service departments as required supporting customer enquiry. Deliver up to date information to Dealers to ensure customer satisfaction. This role comes with leadership responsibility of leading a team to resolve parts inquiries from customers. In addition, the individual leads a team that performs routine analysis and develops procedures to improve dealer support and drive part orders.

The key accountabilities for this role are:

- Supporting Parts Interpretation teams within the functional area with a high level of successful implementations by ensuring team are well informed and supported in getting their tasks done.
- Managing Inventory Data Maintenance by adding new parts with sufficient lead-time for parts to be available in stock prior to product launch in region.
- Processing Order discrepancy claims efficiently and promptly to meet team KPI's.
- Knowledge of and ability to help in QC monthly process.
- Timely supply of remanufactured items.
- Ensure items are rebuilt and returned to stock without delay.
- Monitor progress of items throughout process.

This role requires a customer service focus with technical knowhow and interest in solving difficult tasks. Essential is willingness to learn and adapt in a challenging environment. A level of mechanical aptitude will be well regarded.

The Team Leader, Parts API will suit someone who has:

- Leadership Experience preferred
- Experience in Purchasing and Expediting.
- Experience with Inventory Control Processing.
- Relevant industry experience in capital equipment or automotive industry would be an advantage with High level of customer service
- Forklift license is an advantage
- Time management skills and ability to prioritize
- Experience or formal training with ERP systems.
- A high level of proficiency on PC and the ability to learn new systems is essential
