Hays are proud to be partnering exclusively with a Private Investment Fund in appointing an Investment Manager for a newly created role. Our client has achieved consistent and steady growth over the last decade through their strategic approach in acquiring commercial assets nationally. **Your new role**
As the Investment Manager of a portfolio with an approx valuation of $300M and made up of a few key commercial office towers, you will be responsible for maximising property value and investment returns. Within this strategic role, you will be required to undertake the following responsibilities:

- Develop & execute asset and portfolio strategy.
- Preparing & presenting investment opportunities to investors.
- Assess new investment opportunities through the acquisition of new properties in collaboration with the acquisitions team.
- Oversee large scale capital expenditure ensuring stakeholders investment in those projects are protected.
- Create & implement leasing strategies and leasing negotiations across the portfolio.
- Property life-cycle cost planning & budget forecasting.
- Portfolio risk & governance oversight.
- Annual and quarterly preparation and presentation of budgets, Board reports and ongoing. asset/portfolio strategy.
- Oversight of Asset Managers and on-site property teams.

**What you'll need to succeed***
- Tertiary qualification in Property, Valuations or related discipline.
- Demonstrated financial analysis and valuations experience.
- High level negotiations experience.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing.
