**Job Description**:
We are looking for a confident and professional Operations Supervisor to join our team in Eastern Creek. The role of the Operations Supervisor is responsible for the scheduling and compliance of drivers, in real-time execution. You will review rosters and progress, while ensuring all drivers and staff follow OHS and site safety requirements. You will also be offering support and filling in for the Site Manager on occasion.

There will be occasional travel required with this position to offer support to the Newcastle and ACT depots as and when required.

As the Operations Supervisor, you will:

- Managing daily distribution activities to ensure that people and equipment levels meet service requirements and are employed efficiently
- Responsible for a structured approach to continuously improve the business
- Ensure that health and safety is paramount and responsibilities are effectively communicated throughout the team.
- Lead and develop the positions direct reports to ensure effective service delivery and succession planning
- Continuous review of labor requirement and adjustment to suit service and overall business requirements
- Ensure customer expectations are met and managed accordingly

**Qualifications**:
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- A proven track record in a senior leadership capacity within transportation and logistics
- Exceptional personal standards of honesty, integrity and professionalism
- Experience training, coaching and mentoring a team
- A proven track record in a warehousing environment
- Strong customer service focus
- An MC Truck license would be desirable
- A comprehensive understanding of HSE and legislative requirements within transportation
