We are seeking to appoint a conscientious, hard working team player to join our Facilities & Maintenance team at The Friends’ School.

The team works across two campuses, supporting each other to run the day to day maintenance of the School. This is the ideal role for someone who is looking for variety in their job, enjoys mixing with people and has a strong focus on customer service. This is an extremely rewarding role in a team that is an integral part of the School.

The Bus Driver/Facilities Officer will bring the following experience and attributes to the role:

- Tasmanian Light Rigid (LR) motor vehicle licence or greater. Current Public Passenger Vehicle licence (including Passenger Transport Ancillary Certificate). Extensive experience (ideally in excess of five years) driving buses in a passenger transport service.
- Knowledge and experience in maintenance tasks, including ability to use basic hand tools, preferably as a Facilities Officer.
- Highly motivated, well-organised and flexible in approach to work, with good interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven ability to schedule work and meet work requirements of facilities in a high-profile working environment.
