**About the opportunity**

As a Support Worker you will help assist our clients by providing quality personal, social and emotional care and support to our clients in accordance with Arcare‘s /Bodewell Values

We are looking for skilled Home Care Personal Support Workers who are flexible in their thinking and courageous in their actions. People with compassion and empathy, who understand that attitudes are contagious (and who have one worth sharing). You will assist our clients with:

- Meal preparations
- Domestic duties
- Transporting
- Engaging them into the community
- Shopping
- Taking them to appointments
- Provide social and personal support

**About you**:

- Positivity and kindness that drives you to assist our clients that need social support and to help them maintain their independence while living at home.
- Building great relationships while being respectful of their dignity and privacy

- Understanding that our clients will need your support with various tasks

**We can offer**:

- **AM shifts (can be flexible within school hours)**

**To be successful.**
- Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, or Certificate IV in Individual Support or Disability
- Have valid driver’s license,
- Have a reliable and registered vehicle and current car insurance.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Current Manual Handling certificate practical (can obtain while in the screening process)
- Current national police clearance (within 2.5 years) or a NDIS clearance check
- Available to work mornings, Mon-Fri 8.00am-4.00pm
- Have working with children’s check employee
- Willing to travel to and from client’s homes (max 30min)
- Proof of covid 19 vaccinations
- Proof of flu vaccination
