**Deliverables**:

- Deliver detailed solution design, and technical design documentation as required understanding the solution architecture and data technology.
- Have skills and experience in building enterprise level data models, data pipelines, data migrations and data quality management and deliver as required on projects.
- Improvement of work processes, and the development/implementation of standards, processes and procedures required to ensure that the team is working productively and to a high capacity.
- Embed strong leadership practices focussed on developing our workforce and collectively plan for improving capability.
- Expertise in Azure DevOps and a working knowledge of SharePoint; and
- Contribute towards knowledge and skills transfer..

***Required skills and experience**:
The Technical Lead, to undertake tasks that include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Extensive experience in data warehouse implementations, particularly in cloud data platforms. Understand complex information systems and provide technical design, development and communication related to the development of cloud data platforms in Azure.
- Strong understanding of information processing principles and practices.
- Demonstrated experience in data warehouse platform including models to acquire, store, retrieve, analyse and visualise departmental data in adherence to solution architecture and enterprise standards.
- Expertise in on-premises and cloud:

- Can define technical and detailed designs covering on-premises, cloud, and hybrid.
- Demonstrated understanding of cloud computing and cloud native tools.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and address the concerns of all stakeholders, including the business, immediate team and architecture governance bodies, and deliver fitfor purpose, robust solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to support development and test teams to realise technical designs into a delivered solution aligned to the architecture defined by the solution architects.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure solution and technical designs balances non-functional requirements.
- Provide leadership, mentoring to other members of Department's architecture community.
