**Placement Broker**

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Placement Broking team at **Marsh & McLennan Agency**. This hybrid role will be based in Melbourne. An ideal opportunity for a senior Broker wishing to demonstrate their strong relationship management and marketing skills within an exciting dynamic business unit

**We will count on you to**:

- Manage the placement of existing and new business while serving as a key negotiator and problem solver in obtaining the most appropriate placements based on our client needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters, practice leaders, claims personnel and client service teams
- Assist in the design, planning and implementation of clear and effective renewal and broking strategies as required
- Keep abreast of changing market conditions and inform practice client servicing teams, and/or clients of major developments affecting various types of coverage

**What you need to have**:

- Ideally, a minimum of 4 years’ experience within a broking, underwriting or placement position
- A solid understanding of risk management and major classes of insurance (Property, Liability and Motor) would be highly regarded
- Relevant Broking qualifications (Tier 1 Compliance) and tertiary studies are desired
