**The Opportunity**

It is an exciting time at Amplar Health as we look for an Innovation Analyst to join our New Ventures team.

This position is instrumental in helping drive the growth of Amplar Health outside of our core private health insurance products and will predominantly be focused on working within the health and wellbeing sector.

Drawing on previous experience working in start-ups or corporate innovation teams, you will be responsible for leading a rapid experimentation stream to develop and execute small test and learn experiments to help validate hypotheses or ideas about specific customer problems the team has identified worth exploring.

It will also involve supporting longer-term research and experiments that are trying to deliver new products to market that solve real customer problems in brave and innovative ways.

**How will you do this?**

Consolidate disparate pieces of information about an idea or problem into a clear customer problem to then create a hypothesis that is the foundation of a quick customer test to validate a hypothesis

Lead the design, planning and experiment with conceptual prototypes to rapidly gain customer feedback and act on pivots

Interpret and evaluate experiment evidence against strategic objectives to define which opportunities to pursue or which to bin.

Provide high-level advice on steps required to move a concept onto a backlog outlining what the potential next phase of design, testing and build could look like
- Support longer & more detailed discovery activities as part of the broader New Ventures innovation process
- Help shape and drive concepts from ideation to delivery in collaboration with a product owner and UX researchers/designers
- Contribute to the team’s ways of working and help set the foundations for a quick iterative, agile process for innovation

**Now who are you?**

Firstly, you have an entrepreneurial spirit, an interest in health & wellbeing, and you are a little bit obsessive about understanding what’s important for our customers. That’s a given.

You have proven experience working in a innovation / new ventures team in a large and fast-paced organisation or have been instrumental in delivering new products and services at a start-up.

Comfortable wearing many hats, you thrive in ambiguous environments where you can be creative and autonomous and work in a self-directed manner.

Communication is one of your strengths and you are comfortable engaging with a variety of stakeholders across many levels. This role will also involve engaging with our various partners across Medibank and potentially 3rd parties such as development partners and other start ups.
