We serve as a vital link within the Woolworths Victorian supply chain network, providing a chilled environment for the consolidation of all fresh produce lines including fruit & vegetables, dairy, seafood and meat. Our goal is to ensure that our products reach the Victoria network in the freshest and fastest manner possible. **DC Storeperson Team Member** - Be part of Primary Connect’s Fresh Distribution Centre - Discounts across the Woolworths Group stores & Partners - Permanent full time 8:00 - 16:00 Monday through Sunday - Free uniform & onsite parking - Comprehensive on the job & safety training **Overview** Our Melbourne Fresh site is a chill DC and operates 24/7. We consolidate a range of fresh produce from fruits and vegetables to dairy, seafood, and meats, and we are seeking experienced Warehouse Team Members to join us today The role of a team member plays an integral role in ensuring that the right stock gets to the right store at the right time for our customers, Primary Connect is constantly changing to meet business demands. The position requires a strong sense of teamwork and focus on safety to ensure that the goods are dispatched in a timely manner. Your commitment and advocacy for our purpose of "connecting communities with the products they need and love" will drive the success of the DC. **Some of the duties as a Team Member include**: - Working in 2 & 13 degree temperature controlled environments - Picking & preparing orders accurately destined for our network of stores - Working with voice picking technology - Operating manual handling equipment in line with Occupational Health & Safety requirements - Capacity to work in a physically demanding role to meet replenishment targets - Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment - Working with Team Members to optimise warehouse processes and improve efficiency; and - Adherence to all company and safety policies, protocols and guidelines **What You’ll Bring** - Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work under pressure to meet replenishment targets - Capacity to work in a physically demanding role - Basic numeracy and literacy skills - Commitment to abide by company & safety policies and procedures - Prior warehouse or logistics experience (a plus); and - A positive attitude, an unstoppable work ethic, and of course, a sense of fun. **Everyone Belongs at Woolworths Group** Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are key to realising our purpose of better together for a better tomorrow.
