**You will have key responsibilities**:
- Promote safe working behaviours and display a commitment to safety standards and OHS requirements
- Act as a first point of contact for the site team to provide HSEQ assistance, advice and direction.
- Lead the site team to develop the required Risk assessment/SOPs and JSA as needed
- Conduct HSEQ induction for the new starters, work with the site team to maintain the site training matrix
- Identify and facilitate HSEQ risk ownership
- Facilitate risk assessments, review incidents, and undertake investigations; identify learnings and opportunities for improvement for low and moderate risk incidents
- Work with the Quality Manager to implement the quality SOPs by conducting the quality check/testing as required and maintain record
**About you**:
- Tertiary qualification or minimum certificate IV in OHS required
- Current and valid driver’s licence
- Working understanding of national Health and Safety legislation and quality audit processes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
