This exciting opportunity at North Parramatta is perfect for a passionate individual dedicated to helping people with disabilities build and search for careers.

**Typical duties might include**:

- Assist our customers with employment goals, networking with employers on their behalf and organising work placements.
- Empower the support staff to establish effective communication with customers using an individualized approach, using whatever means of communication is appropriate for each individual.
- Implementing and reviewing Individual Program Plans.
- Record the progress of each customer in line with relevant documentation.
- Devise and facilitate program activities and workshops with customers and other support staff.
- Support and actively encourage customer participation in decision-making about their program and service.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Experience supporting customers and assisting people with disabilities to find jobs.
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs of our unique customers.
- Demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with our customers and to support their individual care plans, including goals.
- A current Driver's Licence and confidence to drive an accessible van.
- NSW Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain
- NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
