The People and Culture Business Partner will be responsible for building strong client and stakeholder relationships to support and foster effective People and Culture practices. You will form part of our small team that provides an end-to-end people and culture service. You will be a vibrant team player, who has project management skills, an ability to take a strategic approach to challenges, to build strong relationships and can excel in delivering of People and Culture functions for a statutory organisation.
Respect Victoria
Respect Victoria was established as a Statutory Authority under the Prevention of Family Violence Act 2018 on the 4th October 2018. We have a broad focus on the primary prevention of family violence and violence against women in Victoria, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to provide state-wide leadership to create social, institutional, organisational and community change.
Essential qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Social Work, social sciences, humanities or related field

Essential skills
- Partnering with business to provide expert advice across the full suite of human resources functions
- Providing advice through provision of consultancy-based service
- Maintaining complete records of work activities in accordance with legislative requirements, including the organisational records, information security and privacy policies and requirements
- Managing cross-functional delivery of departmental policies and services impacted by sensitive and complex issues

Essential specialist expertise
- In people and culture function, including coordination of recruitment and retention activities aligned with the department's People and Culture Strategy

**Location**: Melbourne CBD. Currently flexible working arrangements are in place (working in office at least 2 days per week)
