School Plus specialises in providing high-quality Outside School Hours Care Programs to primary aged children across South-East Queensland. Our educators care for children before school, after school and during school holidays creating a patch for every child to G.R.O.W.

**THE ROLE**

Our program located in Cannon Hill currently have a rare opportunity to work full-time with us as the School Plus Leader (OSHC Coordinator). This position works split shifts during term time, before and after school, with the rest of the hours made up in non-contact time during school hours. This service also offers a vacation care program, so you will have consistent work throughout the year. This program welcomes up to 75 children and has space to grow, to meet the needs of the community when needed.

You will enjoy this programs homely feel, as you and your team help facilitate a good board game, an energetic game of sport or get the disco ball turning for a dance competition to keep everyone smiling. The program has also created a sensory garden with a first nations touch, incorporating bush food and visual cues. Continue to extend upon this as you join the team.

**As the Leader of our Cannon Hill program, you will be**:

- An experienced OSHC professional, with leadership experience
- A true educator at heart, focussed on the children’s voice
- A mentor to your team, to support them on their journey of growth, whether they are just starting out or have been in the industry for some time
- A great communicator who enjoys interacting with your broader community and building relationships

**The operating hours of the service are**:

- 6.00am to 9.00am for before school care
- 2.30pm to 6.00pm for after school care
- The program is open between 6:00am - 6:00pm during vacation care, where you will work an 8-hour shift between these hours.

**What you will need to be successful in the role**:

- Hold a Diploma in School Aged Education and Care, Diploma in Children Services, Bachelor of Education, or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification;
- A current HLTAID012 First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and CPR Certificate or be willing to obtain;
- A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
