We are seeking well-rounded and motivated casual OSHC Educators for our **Ithaca Creek State School Service**.

We are looking for that person who is committed to creating fun and interactive play-based programs, whilst fostering relationships with children and families. You will be mentored by amazing Service Leaders.

**About you**:

- You will be an outgoing, reliable person who has lots of initiative and is someone who loves to laugh out loud at work
- You will have a true passion for working with children (4-12 years);
- Be able to build strong relationships with the children, parents, school and community
- Work as part of a team and acting as a role model to staff and children

**Requirements**:

- Relevant childcare qualifications (or are actively studying) such as a Diploma or Certificate III in Children’s Services is preferred, or if you are completing an Education, Psychology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Disability Services, or Social Work Degree and looking for casual work to gain hands-on experience in working with children, including some students with additional needs;
- A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check);
- All qualified educators must hold current Senior First Aid, CPR Emergency Management of Asthma and Anaphylaxis or alternatively a certificate for HLTAID012 - “Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting” as this covers all certificates.

**Hours of work are varied and include split shifts during term time**:

- 6:15am-9:00am Before School Care
- 2:30pm - 6.00pm - After School Care
- Various shifts during Vacation Care
