**The Company**

**The Role**
Reporting to directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Product Stewardship Development Manager is responsible for investigating, assessing and developing projects in the areas of product stewardship and recycling, and working collaboratively with the team to implement these projects.

Key responsibilities include:

- Working with senior leaders to identify requirements that prepare ANZRP for NTCRS scope expansion, including relevant new product stewardship and recycling projects, trials, or current program expansion opportunities.
- Performing market research and engaging with stakeholders to investigate and scope potential opportunities including determining commercial viability, relevant government funding, return on investment and alignment with ANZRP’s strategic plan.
- Preparing business cases and associated budgets for presentation to the Board. Prepare detailed business, project implementation and business operations transition / handover plans for approved projects.
- Provide responsive, high level authoritative verbal and written specialist advice to the Board, Sustainable Business Growth Committee, CEO and COO.
- Contribute to specialised projects, process improvement, tender response, project management and other initiatives including member engagement, technology solutions, digital strategy, and enhanced reporting requirements.

You possess strong business acumen which you draw on to make sound business decisions and recommendations to the board.

Ideally you will possess:

- Minimum of 10 years’ experience with developing and implementing projects and business development, preferably in the waste and recycling sector.
- Preparing business cases, writing business plans and project plans, preparing budgets and assessing business opportunities.
- Can effectively organise multiple tasks and assignments to produce work that is accurate, thorough and on time.
