Our state-of-the-art childcare center offers a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space where children can grow, explore, and thrive. **Role and Responsibilities**: As a Childcare Room Leader, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and engaging environment for both children and educators. Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and supervising a team of dedicated educators, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.

Designing and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities that support children's individual needs and interests.

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with children, families, and staff members, promoting open communication and trust.

Observing and assessing children's development and progress and providing guidance and support to educators.

Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, health and safety guidelines, and our center's policies and procedures.

Conducting regular staff meetings, professional development sessions, and performance evaluations to support the growth and development of educators.

Collaborating with families to ensure a smooth transition for children into the room and maintaining ongoing communication about their child's progress.

Actively participating in the center's quality improvement processes and implementing innovative ideas to enhance the learning environment.

**Requirements**: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
A genuine passion for working with children and a strong desire to make a difference in their lives.

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

Availability Monday - Friday

Excellent knowledge of child development principles and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations with grace and professionalism.

A current First Aid/CPR certification and a valid Working with Children Check.
